IMPORTANT

Please note that Ubuntu kernels change very often and that nProbe depends on the PF_RING package. Thus if your kernel is not the one we use on our build system, installation will fail.

In this case please

Download PF_RING from source
cd ~/PF_RING/package/ubuntu/
configure
make

Install this PF_RING package you have built on your system

sudo dpkg -i pfring_X.Y.Z-1_amd64.deb

then install the nProbe package.
